Aspie
Just coming to grips with the fact that darter has been diagnosed as borderline Aspergers. Doesn't have all the symptoms that would make it a clear call, but many are present. She has a very difficult time reading social cues and following jokes, a hard time with friends, high sensitivity to noise and textures, difficulty reading, and tends to have high-intensity fixations. Tough stuff.

that is tough stuff. - maybe she makes up for it in other ways
At least she has a father like you to help her through it...
I was thinking the same as Teri... can't imagine a better base for someone to have than you and Jane.
I'm dealing with this same thing with my oldest son right now, though he's not borderline but more toward the end of the Aspie spectrum. You're right...tough stuff. *hugs*
Xoxo!
